Welcome,
We are pleased to announce our upcoming 7th Annual meeting focusing this year on ‘Maintaining Trust in Science’ which will be held on 4-5 July 2025 in Dublin.
This meeting, organised by the Centre for Experimental Pathogen Host Research (CEPHR), is a two-day event with educational sessions across clinical, lab and community advocacy domains. We welcome a wide audience including both ID and non-ID physicians, specialist and general nursing professionals, allied healthcare professionals, students and community representatives.
Since its inception in 2017, the Seminars, formerly known as the European HIV Seminars, have evolved and expanded from covering purely issues in HIV and sexual health to include topics such as COVID-19, mpox, global health, climate change and emerging health threats.
This year’s meeting content will cover clinical research methodology and application, public and community engagement and effective and trustworthy communication and we have confirmed attendance from an exciting panel of international key opinion leaders in the field, coupled with distinguished local speakers
This meeting provides a platform for doctors, researchers and advocates to work together and examine how to protect the public’s belief in the value and trustworthiness of science at a time of significant concern and uncertainty over the funding of, and role for science at the heart of public health policy.
The meeting venue is the historic Mater Misericordiae University Hospital campus close to the many enjoyable sites of Dublin, a delightful city to visit during the Summer.
We hope to see you there!
